MIRUM® Bags & Wallets
MIRUM® is what vegan leather was always meant to be: made from plants, not plastic.
Most vegan leather is polyurethane, a fossil-fuel plastic. MIRUM® is different. It is crafted in the USA from plants, minerals and natural rubber, with no plastic, no tanning and no water in its making. It is the same material chosen by houses such as Stella McCartney for their own handbags.
It is certified USDA 100% Biobased, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, PETA-Approved Vegan, and its rubber is FSC-certified. It wears with the supple depth of fine leather and is designed to be circular at the end of its long life.
Our Luxe pieces in MIRUM® include the Ahimsa Luxe Pochette, named for the principle of non-violence that Shaurè is built on; the Karuna Slim Satchel for hands-free days; and the Prana and Dhyana wallets, made with rice hulls for a subtle natural texture.
Each piece is made in small numbers and hand-finished by women artisans.
